He is responsible for executing short- and long-term branch business strategies to increase EMCOR Services Mesa Energy Services’ share across the local market.

He frequently collaborates with the sales team and customers to provide solutions that meet and surpass the expectations of both the firm and its client base. 

Expertise

Leon is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in the HVAC industry with an emphasis in design, development, installation, and repair of HVAC Systems. In addition, he has excelled in personnel supervision, project management, field installation, piping, electrical, and sheet metal fabrication for multi-million dollar projects.  

With ambition and determination, Leon started his own mechanical company in 1986, accomplishing nine successful years of ownership. After seeking a change in his career, he joined DP Mechanical Inc. as Vice President of Construction in 1995.

In this role, he successfully bid and won larger projects that increased annual sales for the firm. Prior to joining the Mesa Energy team, Leon was the Senior Project Manager, Estimator, and Superintendent at Cal Air, Inc./Johnson Controls Inc. He organized, supervised, and managed multiple projects simultaneously with a portfolio averaging over $16M. 

With a passion for learning, Leon’s education includes certifications in: OSHA, CPR/First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and Respirator, and VPP. He is a graduate of Babson University’s MCAA Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI).

The Personal Side

Leon enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, traveling in his fifth wheel trailer, and driving his RZR in dirt and sand dunes.
