Stephen oversees the Building Automation team in Northern California, where he is responsible for all automation projects from conception to completion. His team delivers building automation, integration, and energy services through design/build, turn-key new construction, and retrofit installations. As a service provider, the team provides continuous training and technical support to end-users and contractors.
An HVAC veteran, Stephen has over two decades of experience in the industry. He has worked for the U.S. Government, manufacturer’s representatives, manufacturers, and design/build contractors that install and service building automation. He is part of the founding team that began offering automation services for Mesa Energy Systems in Northern California.
As a licensed Mechanical Engineer, Stephen has the technical background to analyze facility requirements and provide design/build services for building automation systems. In an industry where change and improvement are constants, he has kept up with the latest advances in building automation, information technology, and other emerging technologies that can be implemented for Mesa’s clients.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis with a concentration in HVAC. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of California, a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP).
The Personal Side
Stephen enjoys spending his leisure time with his family, particularity his seven-year-old son, and his friends. He also enjoys golfing, snowboarding, food, and travel.
