Vice President of Automation
Steve oversees EMCOR Services Mesa Energy’s building automation team in Northern California, where he is responsible for all automation projects from conception to completion.
His team delivers building automation, integration, and energy services through design-build, turn-key new construction, and retrofit installations. As a service provider, the automation team offers continuous training and technical support to end-users and contractors.
An HVAC veteran, Steve has more than two decades of experience in the industry. He has worked for the U.S. Government, manufacturer representatives, manufacturers, and design-build contractors that install and service building automation. He is part of the founding team that began offering automation services for Mesa in Northern California.
As a licensed Mechanical Engineer, Steve has the technical background to analyze facility requirements and provide design-build services for building automation systems. In an industry that is constantly evolving, he has kept up with the latest advances in building automation, information technology, and other emerging technologies, seeking ways to implement them for Mesa’s clients.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Davis with a concentration in HVAC.
He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of California; a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE); and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional.
Steve enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, snowboarding, eating great food, and traveling.
