VICE PRESIDENT of Operations & Quality
Ted is responsible for helping EMCOR Services Mesa Energy support their operational teams throughout Mesa’s multiple locations in 4 states on the West Coast. Alongside his experienced team of IT and Fleet personnel, they focus on providing technical support to all Mesa employees in the field and local branch offices so these employees can be productive and efficient in supporting Mesa’s large customer base.
The focus of Ted’s Teams is to ensure our fleet of over 1150 vehicles stay compliant and safe on the road and our 1600 employees have safe and efficient mobile devices and laptops to support our customers. Ted also oversees all lease agreements, TI projects and overhead capital purchases.
Ted has over 30 years of experience in lean principles and elimination of waste. While at Steelcase Office Manufacturing in the 90’s and early 2000’s, Ted led multiple projects throughout the 1 million square foot Tustin facility to reduce costs and increase productivity. Ted is heavily trained in the Toyota Production System and co-led the Shingo application and site visit that awarded Steelcase the Shingo Prize of Lean Excellence in 2006. Since joining Mesa in late 2006, Ted has led multiple continuous improvement projects for Mesa to streamline processes and improve our customer’s overall experience. He is a Lead Shingo Examiner for the Shingo Prize at Utah State and travels annually all over the world to lead and assess sites in lean principles and tools.
Ted enjoys golfing and playing softball. He has actively been supporting the local Boys & Girls Clubs of Brea, Placentia and Yorba Linda for the past 20+ years. Loves spending as much time as possible with his 2 sons, wife Rhonda and 2 beautiful granddaughters.
