Heather is responsible for overseeing strategic business initiatives, improving processes for optimized efficiency and productivity, and serving as the liaison between each line of business.

She manages the execution of acquisitions from employee onboarding to final transition, and provides reports on company climate, employee well-being, project updates, and planning execution to Mesa executives. Heather also coordinates yearly meetings for sales, executives, and branch managers, and participates in executing company-wide training courses.

Expertise

With more than two decades of experience, Heather has held a variety of administrative, human resources, and training positions in the construction industry. She’s led group trainings on leadership, time management, and communication, and started and owned several businesses, including in retail/sales and childcare. Her experience also includes working in the financial industry and event coordination. 

Her training and degrees include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sociology with an emphasis on interpersonal relations from Long Beach State University
  • Human Resources Generalist certificate
  • Chief of staff certificate 
  • Life coach certificate
  • Several leadership certificates

The Personal Side

Heather is married with three children and one granddaughter. She enjoys reading, traveling, long walks, and Pilates.
