Michael Chaffin

Michael is responsible for helping drive safety and quality throughout the organization, as well as managing talent and customer relations. 

At both the operational and organizational level, Michael models safety practices and promotes our safety program. By supporting quality assurance/quality control processes, he helps facilitate seamless handovers to clients and on-site service teams. 

He hires, trains, and manages diverse teams of field leaders, technical experts, and safety professionals and then provides ongoing coaching and mentorship. By proactively addressing customer problems, he is able to manage escalations, identify root causes, and promote greater customer satisfaction. 

Expertise

With nearly two decades of combined experienced, Michael is a seasoned industry veteran. He spent over a decade working as an Applied/Industrial Mechanic for leading organizations before moving into project management and operations management roles. 

He has expertise in a number of specialized, highly technical markets, including chemical, industrial, semiconductor, healthcare, and hospitality. 

At Western Nevada College, Michael studied mechanical engineering. He completed his five-year apprenticeship through the UA. 

The Personal Side

Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and tending to his “mini farm.” His hobbies include mountain biking, hunting, fishing, CrossFit, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
