Using a results-oriented approach, David helps clients achieve enhanced plant reliability, improved operational efficiency, and sustained long-term performance. He delivers integrated, practical solutions for complex cogeneration and utility plant environments, working to help ensure clients benefit from energy systems that are compliant and cost-effective.
David has nearly four decades of experience in power generation and a deep understanding of large-scale energy systems. He began his energy career as a Project Engineer, developing drawings and submittals and managing marine propulsion and electrical energy projects while also gaining valuable experience in financial analysis.
Later, he advanced into the fields of project management and sales, holding various positions for a decade. In this capacity, he oversaw a diverse portfolio of energy projects, took on significant technical responsibility, and even worked on several international initiatives.
David joined EMCOR to support the completion of the Morongo Cogeneration Facility utilizing his construction management and commissioning skills. As construction progressed, he directed and coordinated the use of commissioned systems and has maintained primary operational authority at the plant for over two decades.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from San Jose State University and a professional certificate in project management from the University of San Diego.
David and his wife have two children. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing tennis with his kids, and embracing life as a dedicated travel sports parent.
