Vice President of Automation
Josh leads the automation team’s design and installation of building automation systems, ranging from the latest Internet-based open-architecture technologies to complex process systems.
He guides our team in providing tightly-integrated and centralized control systems to help our clients achieve high-performance operation, maximum cost savings, and long-term value.
Josh has dedicated his career to the controls and automation industry for more than 25 years. He has specific expertise in control systems and sensor design, having applied optical, electronic, mechanical, and biological sensors in fields as diverse as molecular-biology research and building-energy management.
Prior to joining EMCOR Services Mesa Energy, Josh owned and operated an HVAC controls business in Reno, Nevada, and was a Lead Controls Engineer with Automated Temperature Controls.
A licensed Professional Control Systems Engineer, Josh holds a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering as well as a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Josh enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two children. His hobbies include skiing, climbing, hiking, camping, reading, woodworking, and being in the mountains.
