David oversees operations and productivity of EMCOR Services Mesa Energy Irvine Branch service department. His responsibilities include supervision over technician training, project planning and management, process scheduling, and sales.

His experience with bidding, estimates, and proposals result in projects that are on time and within budget. David’s focus on field technician training enhances their safety accountability, personal kills, and ability to better service mechanical systems.


David is a seasoned professional with over 28 years of experience in the HVAC industry with great focus in building control system sequence and operation, sales and estimating, system design, customer service, and repair and maintenance.

David began his career with Robertshaw/Invensys Controls as a Tradesman and after gaining invaluable experience in the field, advanced to Foreman/Field Supervisor, overseeing 10 service mechanics.

After dedicating 14 years to Robertshaw, David joined the Mesa team in 2003 as a Foreman. In 2008 he was promoted to the position of Service Manager overseeing the largest HVAC service company in Los Angeles and Orange County and was responsible for managing revenues in excess of $35M.

David attended the University of Michigan for education and is a certified instructor of Journeyman and Apprentices. He is active in the Union Training Program helping to develop and teach curriculum for the Apprenticeship as a Licensed UA Instructor.

In 2013, David completed the Advanced Leadership Institute of the MCAA at Babson University.

The Personal Side

David has been married since 1993 and has two children; both of which are fourth generation in the HVAC industry. David’s passions are kayak fishing, hiking, riding his motorcycle, and going to the gym. He is a licensed minister and has been serving in ministry with his wife since 1995. They currently serve in ministry at New Beginnings Community Church in Norco, CA.
