Stephen ensures EMCOR Services Mesa Energy's financial foundation and business practices meet today's rigorous standards while providing consistent, high-quality services to internal and external customers.

He directly oversees financial reporting and planning, policy development, implementation, purchasing, IT, and risk management for Mesa. As a key executive management team member, Stephen contributes to the daily decision making and overall strategic direction of the organization.

Expertise

Stephen is an accomplished financial leader with over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. He has a proven track record of adding value by providing accurate and relevant financial reporting, strengthening processes and internal controls, and improving operational efficiencies.

Prior to joining the Mesa team, Stephen worked for Penhall Company where he held the position of corporate controller. Previously, he has held several senior level positions of growing responsibilities with M.D.C. Holdings/Richmond American Homes aiding the Sacramento division through rapid growth and the west region though significant reorganizations.

Early on in his career, Stephen honed his accounting and audit skills with Deloitte/KPMG in Moscow. He managed relationships with client management and oversaw a diverse portfolio of international and Russian financial institutions.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
